Amanda Perna

hi friend,

I’m Amanda!

The only thing I love more than fashion is people.

It’s the reason I’ve dedicated the last 13+ years of my career (and life) to soulfully designing for, inspiring, giving back to, and empowering bold women to infuse style, joy, and tenacity into their wardrobes (and life) so they can step out with confidence and shine brightly.

Today, I am the CEO, Founder, and Creative Director of The House of Perna, Co-Founder of A Little Wyld, a two-time Project Runway designer, globally recognized Speaker and TV Personality, Author, Illustrator, passionate Momma and wife, and multi-dimensional, multi-media creator who is equal parts artist, entrepreneur, and empath.

To break it down, I get FIRED UP sharing joy, inspiring creativity, and spreading sunshine wherever I go

β€œYou can have anything and everything you want, if you're willing to work for it.”

Amanda first fell in love with fashion during design school at the Fashion Institute of Technology, but honed her craft while designing for major fashion brands including Oscar de la Renta and Calvin Klein in New York City. Though she loved learning under the expertise of renowned designers Amanda’s entrepreneurial spirit always called her to begin her fashion brands.

The House of Perna was born. These brands, the truest reflection of the dynamic sides of Amanda’s personality, have been sold internationally to high end retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and more! She specializes in creating ethically made products and designs with an eye focused on maximalist style with minimalist waste always featuring bright colors and bold prints.

In addition to designing for her signature collections, Amanda is a sought-after creative who has styled celebrity clients, films, and notable fashion events. Her partnerships and collaborations have included brands such as Anthropologie, Neiman Marcus, BHLDN and FabFitFun. As an artist, Amanda has curated her own museum exhibitions, designed whimsical card collections for Hallmark Signature, and is a four-time featured artist at Art Basel.

Since appearing on two seasons of Project Runway, Amanda’s work has been internationally recognized in hundreds of press mentions and she is a well-respected and prominent television personality including co-hosting a weekly morning show as well as numerous national guest spots. She’s a popular content creator and collaborator, working with companies like Hearst Publications, Pinterest, Good Housekeeping and Woman’s Day.

Amanda became a best-selling published author in 2019 with her first children’s book, F is for Fashion, an illustrated book of fashion ABCs.

In 2021, Amanda recognized a void in her local market and opened a boutique with her Co-Founder Skye Dyer.

Amanda is incredibly involved in her local community and donates time, money, and resources to philanthropic causes. She serves on the Advisory board of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Achievement Center for Children and Families the Devoss-Blum YMCA.

In addition, Amanda has been the co-chair of the Delray Beach Public Library Laugh with the Library & Pride & Prosecco Fundraisers, as well as Making Strides Against Against Cancer walk

Above all else, Amanda is a firm believer that you can have anything and everything you want, if you're willing to work for it. Life is too short not to follow your dreams!

For Amanda, philanthropy is equally important as entrepreneurship. That’s why a staple of her business is giving back to her local and global community.

In 2020, a year that was difficult for so many, Amanda took an active stance in creating and distributing masks that were not only ethically made, brought color, vibrance, and joy during the turbulence of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic.

Amanda Perna donated tens of thousands of masks to frontline workers, school children in Haiti, the homeless and over a hundred organizations throughout the country, totally more than $100,000 in total donations.

She also created free video tutorials teaching people how to take the DIY approach to make their own masks at home for a creative outlet and environmentally conscious solution.

Amanda is also an active participant in her local community where she loves spreading positivity, partnership, and creative solutions for the people and businesses in her area. She has donated to dozens of local organizations over the years.

Amanda currently sits on the board of Directors for the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce as well as the Achievement Center for Children and Families, where she frequently partners to raise funds to support families in need. In addition, Amanda is very involved with the Delray Beach Public library. She has donated her time and made contributions to many events including creating bags for their annual fundraiser, as well as being the co-chair for their annual Pride & Prosecco event.

Amanda is on a mission to spread love and joy to as many people as possible and hopes you’ll join her in the fight to provide safety, resources, and positivity in your local and global communities!
