Before becoming a speaker, Amanda built things.
She studied apparel design at the University of Alabama and the Fashion Institute of Technology, began her career with Oscar de la Renta and Calvin Klein, launched her own fashion company, appeared twice on Project Runway, won Flea Market Flip, became a best-selling author, opened retail businesses, created products and experiences for major brands, worked on television and built a career that has continuously evolved across creative industries.
Her work and collaborations have connected her with brands and organizations including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Four Seasons, Disney, Target, Anthropologie, Good Housekeeping, Pinterest and more. Her work has been featured by Vogue, Forbes, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and hundreds of additional media outlets.
And she is still building. That matters. Because Amanda doesn't speak about creativity, entrepreneurship, resilience and reinvention from the sidelines.
